Marcxell Construction is the largest and most experienced full-service rail construction contractor. Founded in 2009, Marcxell Construction Railworks carries out work all over the world through five design offices as well as workshops and construction sites in France, Asia and Africa.

We are a railroad builder, we lay the rails and mount the switches for the circulation of trains, streetcars and railroads. Marcxell Construction controls, maintains or replaces existing railroads and builds new railroads. We carry out concrete works and build ballasted tracks so that the transport of people and goods is carried out on a safe and reliable railway network.

Construction works

Marcxell Construction stabilizes the slopes. Consolidation and leveling of the foundations of the railroad; Precise laying of the rails and pre-assembled elements, welding of the joints. Pouring and tamping of ballast. Marcxell Construction installs the switches according to the current regulations and ensures their operation.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Marcxell Construction works as a team, outdoors and in all weathers, all over the world. We collaborate with assistant track builders and supervise all the work.

Our teams wear appropriate protective equipment (helmets, reinforced shoes) and brightly colored clothing. Our working hours are sometimes irregular, with some activities scheduled at night due to reduced rail traffic.

INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE

Check the condition of the rails and switches to prevent accidents;

Prune trees and shrubs, weed the embankments near the tracks;

Clean walls and walkways along railroad facilities; clear snow from platforms;

Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of machines and tools;

Sort, recycle or dispose of waste in accordance with current environmental standards;

Determine, using sophisticated measuring devices, which infrastructures need to be repaired or changed;

Remove defective material and replace it using construction machinery;

Maintain track and switches by performing minor systematic maintenance;
